No. Most of our clients book services while they’re at work, traveling, or simply out for the day. whenever possible we use door codes rather than physical keys – lockboxes, keypad codes, or garage codes. Your sitter will never hold a physical key to your home. After every visit, you’ll receive a GPS check-in confirmation, photos, and a full visit report.

Every Elite Pet Care sitter completes a background check before their first assignment – criminal history, sex offender registry, and identity verification through Checkr. All contractors carry Pet First Aid & CPR certification. We are fully insured and bonded.

Every Elite Pet Care visit includes more than pet care. Your sitter will bring in packages and mail, water plants, rotate lights to simulate occupancy, check doors and windows, and move trash bins – in addition to caring for your pet. You’re booking a complete home and pet concierge.

Multi-pet homes are common in our service area. We charge a small additional pet fee for each pet beyond the first. Add all your pets to your profile during signup and we’ll make sure your sitter is briefed on everyone before the Meet & Greet.

All billing runs through our secure client portal, powered by Stripe. You’ll receive an invoice for each service and can pay by card on file. You never exchange cash or payment information with your sitter directly.
